Higher Education

I directed a college counseling center for over 10 years, served as an advisory board member for the Center for Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH), am a member of the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors (AUCCCD), and have presented nationally at AUCCCD, NASPA, ACPA, and FATE conferences. I have served in multiple mentorship roles for college counseling center directors and other professionals. My higher education experience can be translated to other industries.

Higher Education Consultation areas:

• Analysis of counseling center data, comparison with national trends in collegiate mental health, development of advocacy efforts, development of reports for community stakeholders

• Configuration of Titanium Schedule electronic health records system (online scheduling, web component, data forms, etc.)

• Application writing, assistance with administration, and generating reports for mental health-oriented grants

• Development and training for counseling center staff, mentoring for counseling center directors, assessment and recommendations for college counseling center structure and operations, recommendations for effective hiring practices, growing thriving workplace cultures

• Presentations and trainings including trauma-focused communities/classrooms, trainings for student leaders (e.g.: Resident Advisors, Orientation Leaders), working with art and design students, suicide prevention, and general mental health response
