Mental Health Counseling

Individual counseling sessions are typically 50-60 minutes in length, scheduled on a weekly basis or at longer intervals.  I provide in-person and telehealth services.

Insurance

I am currently in-network with:

• CareSource insurance exchange/marketplace plans

• CareSource Medicaid (no other Medicaid payers)

• Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

• Medical Mutual

• Aetna

• Optum, United Healthcare, and subsidiaries

There are a variety of plans offered by each of these insurance carriers, and it is your responsibility to verify that I am covered by your specific insurance plan and that you secure any referrals or prior authorizations needed before beginning services.

Fees

If you are using an insurance carrier I am in-network with, what you pay for services will depend on your individual plan, as each carrier can have dozens of differently nuanced plans with different mental health service costs. You should contact your insurance company directly to determine if I am in-network according to your specific plan and to determine your precise costs, so you are not surprised by bills later on. I am not able to verify insurance benefits and eligibility for you at this time. If you are using out-of-network benefits, I will supply you with a super-bill to submit for reimbursement through your insurance company. If you are not using insurance, my full fee for self-pay individual counseling services is $200 for initial assessment and $160 per ongoing counseling session.
